Wines from Geyser Peak

For several years Geyser Peak Winery has been putting out really good wines across the entire brand. They are typically robust in style and clearly demonstrate the flavor differences of each grape that is being used.
Their Sauvignon Blanc would be excellent with fresh and raw seafood/shellfish, such as Tuna, mussels, or oysters. Try their Chardonnay with Veal, Pork, or Chicken - particularly with butter or cream sauces and fresh herbs. The Cab will hold its own against more expensive wines and will match well with Barbeque, grilled meats and red sauces. Again, grocery stores carry these wines and the whites are in the $9-12 price with the Cab moving into the $15 to $18 range.
