This New Zealand Chardonnay is straw in color with green hues.

It has delightful aromas of pears, lemon and stone fruit. The palate in complex and long with creamy mouth filling lees characteristics of cashew, combining with fruit flavours of fresh pear and an underlying minerality. Beautifully balanced, a delight to drink now or in the coming years. It will run you around $15-$18.

The 2008 vintage boasts a citrus, tropical flavor profile,

which results in glorious blend of texture, bright notes of grapefruit and hints of tangerine and oak.  It is the chardonnay lover's sauvignon blanc.   It balances really well and does not have the overwhelming grassy acidity that turns some people off of sauvignon blanc.  It will run you around $12.

This wine from the Northern end of Dry Creek is one of the most refreshing I have had in at least 6 months.

It is crisp, acidic, has lemongrass and a great balance.  Price: $15-$20.
