2006 Napa Valley Clos Du Val Cabernet

Who wouldn't want to go to dinner with three goddesses?

This recently released cabernet is very big (85% cab), but has 15% cab franc, malbec, petite verdot blend to soften it up a bit.  You get a lot of black fruit and great spices. Deep purple-black in color (word of caution- don't spill it on anything!!!), the 2006 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas of black currant, cassis and spice. Intense flavors of black fruit, dried herbs and a hint of spice fill the mouth.
